Belated recap of Forefront No1
Wow, time really does fly when you're having fun, or at least when you're really busy. The first Forefront was way back in November which seems like an age away now, indeed it was a whole different year!
First of all I'd like to say a big thank you to Vincent, Andy & Paul for coming down a giving 3 great talks on the night and also to every one who come down and made the first event such a success. I was delighted and a bit overwhelmed with the turn out, I think it just goes to show that there is a demand for this sort of event in leeds.
The night was kicked off by Vincent who gave a great talk about structured data. He did a great job of summing up and covering a complex subject in the fairly short allocated time frame. After Vince Andy gave a great insight into the front end responsive build process they use at Parallax. He covered a lot of ground and referenced a lot of useful tools. Rounding of the evenings talks was Paul who spoke about package manager Bower and why it rocks.
I was really happy with how the evening went and I've had nothing but positive feedback so far. Plans are afoot for Forefront No2 that will be happening towards the end of January. If you're interested in talking at No2 please get in touch via twitter or email. Keep your eyes on the twitter account for details of No2 as I get them confirmed and I'll obviously put everything up on here once its all confirmed.
Cheers and I'll see you all again at Forefront No2.
